TAQ polymerase

TAQ polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase from the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus, commonly used in PCR. The TAQ polymerase is used in the lab for routine PCR. 

TAQ polymerase is expressed in E.Coli. 

The plasmid for the TAQ polymerase and the sequence can be found on the Reclone consortium website. This enzyme is patent-free and license-free. It can be used for research and commercial use.
